I have to say, the last few days, it really does seem that the central claim of [Romney’s] campaign—that his Bain experience created a hundred thousand jobs, and that figure itself—just seems like it’s based on nothing. If this claim just cannot withstand scrutiny, the central argument of his campaign is just vaporized.
